KESAPLAST 8100 supplied by FARRL is an adipate (DEHA/DOA) used as plasticizer in PVC, plastisols, ethyl cellulose, polystyrene and rubber. It offers excellent cold elasticity, good electrical properties, good thermal stability and a good weathering resistance (light stability). Due to its low odor and taste it is widely used in food packaging films besides technical applications. High compatibility with other plasticizers like DOTP or DOP when used in combination. KESAPLAST 8812 supplied by FARRL is a non-stabilized tris(2-ethylhexyl) trimellitate (TOTM) and acts as a plasticizer. This relatively high molecular weight monomeric ester offers excellent migration resistance, excellent extraction resistance to polar & non-polar liquids and good electrical properties. It is suitable for chlorinated rubber, epichlorohydrin, nitrile, hydrogenated rubber, polychloroprene and PVC applications. It also acts as an anti-fogging agent both on PVC skins (including automobile interiors) and in ABS. The shelf life of the grade is 1 year. KESAPLAST 8812 is used as the sole plasticizer with dosage of 40-60 phr and around 0.5% as an anti-fogging agent. KESAPLAST 8500 supplied by FARRL is dioctyl terephthalate (DOTP) used as a high molecular weight (monomeric) plasticizer. It offers an excellent plasticizing effect, excellent processing performance and good thermal aging resistance. It is compatible with EPDM, ethyl cellulose, nitrile rubber, nitrocellulose and PVC. It can be used in building materials, wire & cable, sports and leisure products, medical parts and in packaging films for food. The shelf life of KESAPLAST 8500 is 12 months. KESAPLAST 8810 ST supplied by FARRL is a stabilized C8/C10 trimellitate which acts as a plasticizer. It is a mixture of C8/C10 alcohols with a relatively higher molecular weight monomeric ester. It offers excellent migration resistance even under heat, excellent extraction resistance to polar & non-polar liquids, good electrical properties and good flexibility at low temperatures. It is suitable for chlorinated rubber, epichlorohydrin, nitrile, hydrogenated rubber, polychloroprene and PVC applications. It is mainly found in cable mixtures with the highest industrial requirements (CEI 20-11, BS 6746, VDE 0207, UL 62, ISO 6722 in connection with cables for the automotive industry class B and C). It also acts as an anti-fogging agent both on PVC skins (including automobile interiors) and in ABS. The shelf life of the grade is 1 year. KESAPLAST 8810 ST is used as the sole plasticizer with dosages of 40-60 phr and in a range of 0.5% as an anti-fogging agent. KESAPLAST 8400 supplied by FARRL is an epoxidized soya fatty acid ester which is a green alternative to DINP, DOTP and polymeric plasticizers. Offers good low temperature resistance from above 5°C and very high biodegradability. It can be used as co-stabilizer in PVC. Shows high resistance to fogging/ exudation. It is compatible with a large number of resins and typical plasticizers. KESAPLAST 8400 is suitable for PVC, cellulose polymers, polyester resins and synthetic rubber applications.
