KESAPLAST 8810 ST supplied by FARRL is a stabilized C8/C10 trimellitate which acts as a plasticizer. It is a mixture of C8/C10 alcohols with a relatively higher molecular weight monomeric ester. It offers excellent migration resistance even under heat, excellent extraction resistance to polar & non-polar liquids, good electrical properties and good flexibility at low temperatures. It is suitable for chlorinated rubber, epichlorohydrin, nitrile, hydrogenated rubber, polychloroprene and PVC applications. It is mainly found in cable mixtures with the highest industrial requirements (CEI 20-11, BS 6746, VDE 0207, UL 62, ISO 6722 in connection with cables for the automotive industry class B and C). It also acts as an anti-fogging agent both on PVC skins (including automobile interiors) and in ABS. The shelf life of the grade is 1 year. KESAPLAST 8810 ST is used as the sole plasticizer with dosages of 40-60 phr and in a range of 0.5% as an anti-fogging agent.
