PPA by Excel Industries is phenyl phosphonic acid that acts as a catalyst. It also can be added into nylon to improve its polymerization degree or used as catalyst of carboxylic acid and alcohol reaction. PPA can be used as fire retarding treatment of fiber or used as organic materials. Used for unsaturated polyester and PU resin.
