Coupsil® 8113 by Evonik is a reinforcing filler based on precipitated silica, surface modified with organosilane Si 69®. It reacts with unsaturated polymer during vulcanization under formation of covalent chemical bonds. It imparts greater tensile strength, higher moduli, reduced compression set, increased abrasion resistance and optimized dynamic properties. Offers the advantage of a homogeneous modification with low moisture adsorption during storage and significantly lower development of ethanol during mixing and processing. Applications for Coupsil® 8113 include low rolling resistant tires with high wet grip and low heat generation, mechanical rubber goods, shoe soles. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
Coupsil® 6109 by Evonik acts as a reinforcer/ filler in rubber compounds. It is precipitated silica surface-modified with organosilane. It imparts greater tensile strength, higher moduli and reduced compression set. Coupsil® 6109 exhibits increased abrasion resistance and optimized dynamic properties.
Coupsil® VP 6411 by Evonik acts as a reinforcing filler in rubber compounds. It imparts greater tensile strength, higher moduli, optimized dynamic properties, lower compression set values and better abrasion resistance. It appears as a white powder and reacts with unsaturated polymers during vulcanization under formation of covalent chemical bonds. It offers the advantage of a homogeneous modification with low moisture adsorption during storage and significantly lower development of ethanol during mixing and processing. It is a reaction product of organosilane Si 264® [3Thiocyanatopropyltriethoxysilane] with 100 parts and Ultrasil® VN 2 with 11 parts. Coupsil® VP 6411 is used for mechanical rubber goods.
Coupsil® VP 6508 by Evonik acts as a reinforcing filler. Designed for peroxide-cured rubber compounds where optimum technical properties are required. Imparts greater tensile strength, higher modulus, optimized dynamic properties, lower compression set values and better abrasion resistance. It reacts with unsaturated polymers during vulcanization under the formation of covalent chemical bonds. Offers homogeneous modification with low moisture adsorption during storage and significantly lowers development of ethanol during mixing and processing. It is a reaction product of organosilane Dynasylan® VTEO [vinyltriethoxysilane] with 8 parts and Ultrasil® VN 2 with 100 parts. Coupsil® VP 6508 has a shelf life of 24 months.
Coupsil® 8113 GR by Evonik acts as a reinforcing filler in rubber compounds. Offers the advantage of a homogeneous modification with low moisture adsorption during storage and significantly lower development of ethanol during mixing and processing. It reacts with unsaturated polymers during vulcanization under formation of covalent chemical bonds. This imparts greater tensile strength, higher moduli, reduced compression set, increased abrasion resistance and optimized dynamic properties. Applications for Coupsil® 8113 GR include low rolling resistant tires with high wet grip and low heat generation, mechanical rubber goods, shoe soles. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
