LASERSAFE 020 by Eckart is a tailor-made laser marking pigment additive for the plastics industry. It achieves strong contrasts, high writing speeds and outstanding marking quality.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is very effective: very low pigment concentration in the final application result in bright and high-contrast markings on dark backgrounds.</li>
<li>It is suitable for all polymers like polyolefins (PE, PP), PS, PVC, PA, ABS, PC, PMMA and others as well as for liquid masterbatches.</li>
<li>It is compliant for food contact applications. It is recommended for automotive plastics parts and packaging.</li>
<li>LASERSAFE 020 has a shelf life of 36 months.</li></ul> LASERSAFE 040 by Eckart is a heavy-metal free laser marking pigment suitable for eco-friendly markets. It exhibits exceptional contrasts at high speeds and superior quality. Due to its excellent laser marking efficiency, even at low dosage levels, LASERSAFE 040 offers good color stability of the final formulation. The carrier material is based on a thermoplastic polyolefin. It is used in plastics which are inherently poor for laser marking such as polyolefins (HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, PP & PP-copolymer) and engineering plastics like PA, PET, PS/SAN, PC/ABS. The shelf life is 36 months.
