LASERSAFE 040 by Eckart is a heavy-metal free laser marking pigment suitable for eco-friendly markets. It exhibits exceptional contrasts at high speeds and superior quality. Due to its excellent laser marking efficiency, even at low dosage levels, LASERSAFE 040 offers good color stability of the final formulation. The carrier material is based on a thermoplastic polyolefin. It is used in plastics which are inherently poor for laser marking such as polyolefins (HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, PP & PP-copolymer) and engineering plastics like PA, PET, PS/SAN, PC/ABS. The shelf life is 36 months.
