UNIDIC V-8002 by DIC Corporation is an amide-imide resin soluble in solvent. Acts as a hardening agent. It contains rigid imide structures and terminal carboxyl groups. Offers good color, high heat resistance, high light transmittance, high glass transition temperature and low volume new substances. Exhibits excellent compatibility with general-purpose solvents and epoxy resins. UNIDIC V-8002 is diluted in ethylene glycol acetate and methyl ethyl ketone, which have a boiling point at 217°C and 80°C respectively. Recommended for use in encapsulant materials, carbon fiber reinforced and flame retardant materials. Complies with CSCL/ ISHL regulation. Possesses high mechanical toughness, low linear coefficient of linear thermal expansion, flame resistance and low volume new substances. Exhibits excellent compatibility with general-purpose solvents and epoxy resins. UNIDIC V-8005 is diluted in N, N-dimethyl acetamide (DMAC) which has a boiling point at 165°C. Recommended for use in encapsulant materials, carbon fiber reinforced and flame retardant materials. Complies with CSCL/ ISHL regulation.
