Aurora Pink® GPL-11

by DayGlo Color

Aurora Pink® GPL-11 by DayGlo Color is a supercharged high-performance fluorescent colorant developed especially for use in polyolefins. Exhibits superior processing properties, virtually eliminates the problem of plate-out at the blow-pin and in the mold cavity. It is completely formaldehyde-free and can be produced continuously at a high-speed with minimum downtime. Concentrated and masterbatch formulations can be simplified with the elimination of expensive or hard to handle additives for controlling plate-out and dispersion. Provides dust-free performance from a super high strength prill and cleanest, brightest fluorescent products. Designed for blow molding and injection molding. Aurora Pink® GPL-11 is used at full strength for lowest cost in use or as a replacement for melt-in colorants for custom color matches.

Aurora Pink® A-11

by DayGlo Color

Aurora Pink® A-11 by DayGlo Color is a thermoplastic, fluorescent pigment. Recommended for a wide range of applications where resistance to strong solvents is not required. It performs well in a system based on aliphatic and some aromatic hydrocarbons. Aurora Pink® A-11 is usable in water systems where prolonged shelf life is not required. Suitable for use in vinyl plastisols and organisols. The higher the pigment concentration, the better the light-fastness. The light-fastness of fluorescent pigment can be influenced by plasticizers, stabilizers and other additives.

Aurora Pink® AX-11-5

by DayGlo Color

Aurora Pink® AX-11-5 by DayGlo Color is a thermoplastic, fluorescent pigment. It performs well in a system based on aliphatic and some aromatic hydrocarbons. Recommended for a wide range of applications where resistance to strong solvents is not required. Aurora Pink® AX-11-5 is usable in water systems where prolonged shelf life is not required. Suitable for use in vinyl plastisols and organisols. The higher the pigment concentration, the better the light-fastness. The light-fastness of fluorescent pigment can be influenced by plasticizers, stabilizers and other additives.

Aurora Pink® ZQ-11

by DayGlo Color

Aurora Pink® ZQ-11 by DayGlo Color is a solid solution of fluorescent dyes in a thermoplastic modified polyamide resin. To ensure complete color development when incorporating the pigment into plastic resins, it is essential the minimum processing temperature of 350°F (175°C) is reached in order to completely melt and evenly distribute the pigment throughout the plastic. Aurora Pink® ZQ-11 offers lower mold plate-out, increased plastic compatibility, required low processing temperatures and exhibits larger particle size to reduce dusting. Shows excellent heat stability and the maximum recommended processing temperature is 575°F.

Aurora Pink® VC-11

by DayGlo Color

Aurora Pink® VC-11 by DayGlo Color is a translucent vinyl-based pigment exhibiting exceptional brightness, high tinctorial strength and excellent heat stability. Suitable for rigid and plasticized PVC. Recommended for calendered, extruded and injection molded vinyl. For injection molding, the pigment should be converted into pellet form in order to minimize sifting, packing and potential burn-out. It do not cause build-up on calendering or two roll mill equipment and have a low degree of plate-out on metal surfaces of processing equipment. The typical use rate is 1-3% pigment by weight. It does not possess any lead or cadmium containing stabilizer. Aurora Pink® VC-11 is designed for maximum transparency and offers excellent edge glow. For opacity, TiO2 can be added at a ratio of 3:1 - VC-Pigment:TiO2. It displays no color change after a heat history of 20 minutes at 350°F (175°C) on a two roll mill.

Aurora Pink® Z-11-3

by DayGlo Color

Aurora Pink® Z-11-3 by DayGlo Color is a solid solution of fluorescent dyes in a thermoplastic polyamide resin. Offers bright shades, good heat stability and tinctorial strength. To ensure complete development of the fluorescent color effect, the pigment must be completely melted and evenly distributed throughout the plastic system. The recommended minimum processing temperature for Aurora Pink® Z-11-3 is 370°F (190°C).
