Bayhydrol® A 2139/2 by Covestro is fatty acid-modified, hydroxy-functional polyester-polyacrylate co-polymer dispersion. It is neutralized with dimethyl ethanol amine which has good resistance to hydrolysis. It can be thinned with water for application. Bayhydrol® A 2139/2 can be combined with
polyester/ polyacrylate/ polyurethane dispersions. It has a shelf life of 6 months. Bayhydrol® A 2290 by Covestro is an aqueous hydroxy-functional polyester polyacrylate dispersion which has already been neutralized with di-methylethanolamine. It offers very good adhesion, sand-ability and water resistance and provides high shear stability. It exhibits good hydrolysis stability. Bayhydrol® A 2290 has a shelf life of 6 months. Bayhydrol® A 2846 XP by Covestro is a primary self-crosslinking acrylic dispersion. It exhibits good chemical resistance, long pot life, hand mixability and fast drying. Bayhydrol® A 2846 XP contains ammonia as a neutralizing agent for product. Bayhydrol® A 2845 XP by Covestro is a secondary polyacrylic dispersion. It exhibits low VOC, high gloss and low thermo-yellowing porperties. It shows good chemical- and weather resistance. Bayhydrol® A 2845 XP contains di-methyl ethanol amine (DEMA) as a neutralizing agent for product.

Bayhydrol® from Covestro is a series of low- to ultra-low VOC polyols or polyurethane dispersions (PUDs). Bayhydrol® A series contains waterborne polyacrylic polyol dispersions for two-component (2K) systems. Polyurethanes based on Bayhydrol® polyols are fast drying, durable and elastic with excellent resistance to chemicals, weather and UV radiation.
