GUR® UHMW-PE (30 µm) by Celanese is polyethylene-based filler, texturing agent and anti-slip agent. Exhibits a rubber-elastic behavior in molten state because of very high viscosity. It is a micro-powder offering improved thermal and mechanical behavior with improved abrasion resistance in rubbers. Maintains particle shape and unique morphology. Allows excellent dispersion and helps phase binding with other materials. GUR® UHMW-PE (30 µm) offers improved gliding properties, abrasion resistance, scratch resistance, chemical resistance, special surface effects, impact strength and energy absorption at high speed impact. Shows reduced water and moisture absorption. Dosage varies from 3% to 10% (-265°C to 90°C) by weight.
