Sulfanylpropanoate. Acts as a chain transfer agent. Iso-octyl 3-mercaptopropionate EC (IOMP-EC) is a clear, in short optical path nearly colorless liquid with characteristic odor. It reacts like other mercaptanes and shows longterm stability. Used in the manufacture of certain polymers.
