Evanstab® 1218 by Bruno Bock chemische Fabrik acts as an antioxidant. It is based on lauryl/stearyl thiodipropionate. Suitable for polyolefins, ABS and styrene-butadiene emulsions. It can also be used in highly crosslinked polyethylene for cable insulation. Evanstab® 1218 complies with REACH, TSCA, DSL, AICS, ENCS, KECI, PICCS and IECSC regulations.
Isooctyl mercaptoacetate. Acts as a chain transfer agent. Iso-octyl thioglycolate, dist (IOTG dist) is a clear, in short optical path colorless liquid with characteristic odor. It is like other mercaptanes and shows longterm stability. Possesses an incompatibility with oxidizing agents, strongly alkaline and strongly acid materials. Used in the manufacture of certain polymers.
