Chemical foaming agent. Characterized by endo/ exothermic decomposition beginning @ 145°C. Used for applications that require relatively high gas yields. Maximum gas yields are achieved when processing temperatures of 180- 230°C ( 356-446°F) are reached. At usage level of 0.25- 1.5% , injection molding is recommended for weight reduction and extrusion is recommended for chemical foaming.
