Alugel® 28 DG by Baerlocher is aluminum stearate lubricant. It is produced from a high-quality, tallow-derived fatty acid for grease, lacquer and polymer applications requiring a finely divided powder with good handling and feeding characteristics. Insoluble in water, lower alcohols, esters and ketones. Soluble in benzene, toluene, xylene, glycol, chlorinated hydrocarbons, mineral and vegetable oils. Alugel® 28 DG is used in the production of polyamides and thermosets. Alugel® 30 HE Veg by Baerlocher is aluminum stearate. It acts as a lubricant. It is derived from vegetable in the form of distearate. It is applicable for thermosetting plastics and thermoplastics.
