Luperox® 231 by Arkema is 1,1-di(t-butylperoxy)-3,3,5-trimethylcyclohexane. Acts as a crosslinking agent. It is a colorless liquid (92%) and is available in several concentrations from 50% to 90% with organic solvent and as a technically pure liquid. Luperox® 231 is used in polymerization in bulk, solution, suspension, polymer modification, curing elastomers, polyester and acrylic syrup. Luperox® DCP by Arkema acts as a polymerization initiator, vulcanizing and crosslinking agent. It is dicumyl peroxide (DCP). It is compatible with thermoplastic elastomer vulcanizates, polypropylene and expandable polystyrene.

It is suitable for use as finisher and as synergist for fire retardant EPS applications.

Luperox® DCP can be processed at temperatures up to 250°F (121°C) and can be cured at temperatures above 300°F (149°C).

It is recommended for general & renewable energy applications such as wire and cable.

Luperox® K1SN by Arkema is methyl ethyl ketone peroxide. It is recommended for the cure of unsaturated polyester resins at room temperatures in combination with a cobalt accelerator. It is used for applications such as hand lay-up, spray up, centrifugal casting, filament winding, polyester concrete, etc. Luperox® K1SN is particularly suitable for gel coat curing. Its low viscosity makes it ideal for spray-up techniques (airless) with external mixing. Faster reaction with shorter demold times can be obtained by the addition of promoters such as dimethyl aniline. Luperox® Z390 by Arkema is a peroxide blend. It is used for the cure of unsaturated polyester resins in combination with a cobalt accelerator. It allows extremely fast curing at either room or elevated temperatures, which means shorter cycle times and as a consequence, higher productivity. Luperox® Z390 formulation guarantees much better curing than normal acetyl acetone peroxide this results in low residual styrene and tack-free surface GRP articles. Luperox® Z33G by Arkema is a phthalate-free blend of two ketone peroxides (MEKP and AAP). It is used for the cure of unsaturated polyester resins at room temperature in combination with a cobalt accelerator. Luperox® Z33G gives faster curing and higher peak temperatures than methyl ethyl ketone peroxides (MEKP) at either elevated or room (40-80°C) temperatures when in association with a cobalt accelerator. Luperox® TAH75 by Arkema is an 85% aqueous solution of tert-amyl hydroperoxide. It can be used alone or in combination with other organic peroxides in solvent and emulsion polymerizations of acrylics resins. Luperox® TAH75 is soluble enough in water to be used in waterborn resins. Luperox® Z11G by Arkema is a phthalate free blend of two ketone peroxides (MEKP and AAP). It is used for the cure of unsaturated polyester resins at room temperature in combination with a cobalt accelerator. Luperox® Z11G gives faster curing and higher peak temperatures than methyl ethyl ketone peroxides (MEKP) at either room or elevated (40-80°C) when associated with a cobalt accelerator. Luperox® DP40 by Arkema is ketone peroxide. It is used for the hot curing of unsaturated polyester resin in combination with a cobalt accelerator. It is suitable for curing in the range of 60°C-100°C when used alone. Also, Luperox® DP40 can be used in association with ketone peroxides to achieve a higher degree of curing. Luperox® TAH85 by Arkema is an 85% aqueous solution of tert-amyl hydroperoxide. It can be used alone or in combination with other organic peroxides in solvent and emulsion polymerizations of acrylics resins. Luperox® TAH85 is soluble enough in water to be used in waterborne resins. Luperox® A75FP by Arkema is a free-flowing, white fine powder of dibenzoylperoxide at 73-77%. It is composed only of fine particles of wet solid. Luperox® A75FP used in pharmaceutical applications such as anti-acne formulations.
