Alkylphenol disulphide. Acts as a vulcanizing agent. It has excellent heat resistance and high tensile strength. It shows tackifying and oxidation resisting effects. It can substitute sulfur or DTDM in semi-effective or effective vulcanization system and does not generate N-nitrosamine gas during sulfidation process. Used in natural rubber, chlorinated butyl rubber, brominated butyl rubber, butyl rubber and other rubbers. Suitable for side wall, tread rubber, sealing gasket, conveyor belt and tire. The recommended dosage is 0.5-5 parts.
