VIBATAN® MB Bio Yellow 26246

VIBATAN® MB Bio Yellow 26246 by Viba Group is Yellow colored pigment, dispersion of organic pigments in a biodegradable polymer carrier, compostable, from renewable resources. Expressly developed for the coloring of compostable bio-polymers, from renewable resources. Used specifically for the production of bio-films intended for the packaging applications (shoppers) but can be used also for injection moulding or sheet extrusion for thermoforming. Is easily transformed through conventional production processes using standard equipments. Selected pigments and the special carrier make VIBATAN® MB Bio Yellow 26246 suitable for the production of end-products which have to satisfy the parameters imposed by the norm UNI EN 13432 “Packaging - Requirements for packaging recoverable through composting and biodegradation”, if used at a maximum dosage of 4.0%. To avoid possible thermal degradation of the polymer, it has to be processed at low temperatures (< 170 °C).
