Plasticolors® CF-70214 distributed by DKSH is a quinacridone violet pigment dispersion. It is a low viscosity, pumpable, flowable, pourable and easy to handle grade. It provides high tint strength and pigment efficiency. It is free of heavy metals, solvents and reactive monomers.
  • It is dispersed in a low molecular weight unsaturated polyester resin.
  • The unsaturation allows for cross-linking through double bonds as occurs in peroxide-cured polyesters or vinyl esters in the presence of a reactive monomer, such as styrene.
  • In addition, the secondary hydroxyl groups provide a means to crosslink the resin with polyisocyanates.
  • When cross-linked with or covalently reacted the CF resin is fully converted to a portion of the matrix solids.
  • It is compatible with acrylate monomers.
  • Plasticolors® CF-70214 is suitable for SMC, BMC, TMC, pultrusion, polyester cast, polymer concrete and polyester panels.
  • It has a shelf life of 24 months.
  • It is available in Canada.
