CEREPLAS™ DOA HP by Valtris Specialty Chemicals acts as a plasticizer. It is produced by the controlled esterification of 2-ethylhexanol with adipic acid. Its low electrical resistivity makes it suitable for applications needing anti-static properties, such as conveyor belting and industrial flooring.
- It is suitable for nitrocellulose, ethyl cellulose acetate and butyrate and can be used advantageously with most synthetic rubbers.
- It is designed for flexible PVC applications where enhanced low temperature flexibility is required and in plastisols for spread coating where certain low and stable viscosity properties are required.
- It is primarily used in automotive engine and gear oils.
- It has general approval for use in many food-contact applications including film for packaging aqueous and fatty food.
- CEREPLAS™ DOA HP is recommended for packaging, cap and capsule, flexible toys & parts, wires, flooring and auto-components.
