CEREPLAS™ DOA by Valtris Specialty Chemicals is a plasticizer. It is produced by the controlled esterification of 2-ethylhexanol with adipic acid.
  • It is a clear, nearly colorless, and almost odorless liquid that is miscible with inert organic solvents but not with water.
  • Its low electrical resistivity makes it suitable for applications needing anti-static properties, such as conveyor belting and industrial flooring.
  • It is compatible with nitrocellulose, ethyl cellulose acetate and butyrate and can be used advantageously with most synthetic rubbers.
  • It is primarily used in automotive engine and gear oils.
  • It has general approval for use in many food-contact applications including film for packaging aqueous and fatty food.
  • CEREPLAS™ DOA is designed for flexible PVC applications where enhanced low temperature flexibility is required, and in plastisols for spread coating where certain low and stable viscosity properties are required.
  • It is recommended for use in packaging, cap and capsule, flexible toys & parts, wires, flooring and auto-components.
  • It is REACH registered.
