Norox® 411

Supplied byUnited Initiators- Last Updated on Jun 24, 2025

Norox® 411 by United Initiators is pure t-amylperoxy-2-ethylhexanoate (t-amyl peroctoate). It acts as an initiator. It is branched, aliphatic perester and is highly efficient liquid that is readily miscible with high boiling aliphatics. It is free from plasticizers and is a highly active liquid, which can be easily added to a reactor. It can be used for bulk or suspension polymerization of styrene (temperature range: 160°C to 210°C) along with the methacrylates and allyl-monomers (temperature range: 80°C to 120°C). Norox® 411 is used in combination with other peroxides as an initiator. Low residual monomer content can be achieved in combination with other, thermally more stable peroxides.
