BCHPC

Supplied byUnited Initiators- Last Updated on Nov 19, 2025

BCHPC by United Initiators is Bis (4-tert. butylcyclohexyl) peroxydicarbonate. It acts as an initiator (radical source) in the polymerization of monomers, e.g. vinyl chloride and (meth-) acrylates, and as a substitute for AIBN. It enhances free flowing properties. BCHPC is a white, crystalline, odorless salt with molar mass 398.5 g/mol. It is recommend with a combination with thermally more stable peroxides e.g. dilauroyl peroxide (LP). A well-balanced combination produces an almost constant rate of polymerization throughout the reaction period.
