TiONA® 242 by Tronox is a hydrophobic, blue undertone, sulfate-process, rutile titanium dioxide pigment. It is designed with a high-performance organic treatment to provide optimal processability. It is designed for use in plastics masterbatch and other plastics applications where durability is not required. It offers excellent brightness, whiteness, and powder handling. It exhibits good dispersion. TiONA® 242 is used in general-purpose masterbatch, polyolefins, ABS, styrenics, flexible & interior rigid PVC, rubbers and plastisol. It is also surface treated with alumnia.
