Plasper® Calcium Carbonate Masterbatches by Tecni Plasper are mineral-based plastic concentrates for processing of polyolefins. They contain high, very fine, treated CaCO3 content with excellent dispersion. They can be used for the extrusion and injection of polymers.
- They increase productivity, reduce energy costs and improve the physical and mechanical properties of the product.
- They produce a whitish appearance on films without pigmentation which save the use of titanium dioxide and reduce polymer consumption.
- They increase the thermal conductivity, which result in more rapid heating and cooling of the polymer.
- They improve processability/transformation, anti-blocking and barrier effects and improve the impression of final product.
- They offer increased tearing- and dart drop resistance, better stability of the bubble and facilitates welding.
- They make the product more environmentally friendly and sustainable, exhibiting a lower carbon footprint.
- Plasper® Calcium Carbonate Masterbatches are used in the production of polyethylene or polypropylene ropes, plastic bags (vest handle, bin), agricultural film, bottles, drums, containers, raffia sacks & bags, thermoformed plastic & twin wall sheets, and corrugated pipes.
- Recommended dosage levels are 3-50%.
