Syntex ER-I by Synchemer acts as an optical brightener. It is a 1,4-bis(2-cyanostyryl)benzene. It is available in yellowish green crystal powder form. Syntex ER-I offers good whitening effect on plastics such as PE, PP and PVC. It can be used in process of shaping polyester chips or recovered polyester chips.
