Synclear -3 by Synchemer is an efficient 1,3:2,4-bis(3,4-dimethylbenzylidene) sorbitol nucleating agent. It can be used in the form of masterbatch and also in conjunction with white oil or other appropriate dispersing agents.
- Synclear -3 is compatible with polyolefins used in homopolymer and copolymer polypropylene and LLDPE films.
- It is also compatible with super high molecular weight polyethylene.
- Synclear -3 can be processed using injection molding at 250-270°C.
- The recommended dosage level of Synclear -3 in polypropylene is 0.1-0.35% and in LLDPE is 0.1-0.2%.
