Iriotec® 8210 by Susonity is an antimony-free, granulated laser pigment most suitable for a dark marking with pulsed IR lasers for colored polyolefins. It is the antimony-free alternative to Iriotec® 8208. It is especially developed for use in sensitive applications like food contact and toys.
- It is composed of laser-active material (40-60%) and polyethylene carrier (40-60%).
- It can be pre-compounded used as dry blend or fed by gravimetric or volumetric dosing.
- It is recommended to incorporate laser granule in a masterbatch or in a compound due to its low dosage level.
- It can be processed by injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, cast films and blown films.
- Iriotec® 8210 is suitable for polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and polycarbonate (PC).
- The recommended dosage level is 0.7-1.0%.
