STRUKTOL® A60 by Struktol is a rubber soluble zinc soap. It is used in processing additives like natural and synthetic rubber. It is a mixture of zinc soaps of high-molecular weight fatty acids. It offers faster physical peptization of natural rubber. STRUKTOL® A60 affects the rapid incorporation of the fillers which leads to a shorter mixing cycle.
- It starts to be effective in the lower temperature range of compounding and can be used for mastication in a separate stage as well as for single stage mixing.
