ZELEC® UN by Stepan Company is un-neutralized alcohol phosphate-based release agent in polyester resin molding operations that requires external heat, such as matched metal die, compression and pultrusion.
  • Protects ferrous metal molds from corrosion during storage.
  • Offers reduced danger of loss or damage to expensive molds or parts due to improper application of external parting agents.
  • It improves surface appearance of molded parts and produces exceptionally smooth surfaces on molded products made from low shrink, unsaturated, thermosetting polyester resins.
  • ZELEC® UN offers improved surface appearance of molded parts.
  • Suitable for pultrusion molding of fiberglass reinforced polyester resins.
  • Recommended dosage level is 0.25-0.75 parts per 100.
