Microtuff® AG 191

Microtuff® AG 191 by Specialty Minerals acts as a talc. It is an effective, low cost reinforcement for a variety of thermoplastics, from inexpensive polypropylene and thermoplastic polyolefins (TPOs) to top-of-the-line engineering thermoplastics and alloys. Increasingly, whiteness, brightness, and consistency of optical properties are needed to provide the full range of colors required for automotive and other consumer applications. It can be used in white and light colored formulations. It possesses excellent color and lot-to-lot color consistency. Offers mechanical reinforcement, with excellent stiffness/impact balance. Provides excellent thermal stabiity and low stabilizer demand. Microtuff® AG 191 is suited for plastic compounds used in pigmented, unpainted parts, such as interior automotive panels and trim, appliances, and packaging.
