Precipitated calcium carbonate. Is a white microcrystalline powder characterized by high surface area, controlled particle shape and high whiteness. Consists of agglomerated ultrafine calcitic crystals with an average primary particle size of 0.07µm. The high surface area and rheological structure-building ability of CALOFORT® U pcc makes it a versatile functional filler in many different applications. Used in rubber reinforcement and detackification of thin film natural rubber.
