SONGNOX® 1098 by Songwon is N, N'-hexamethylenebis(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyhydrocinnamamide). It acts as an excellent performance effect metal deactivation and antioxidant upon the thermoplastic resins.
- It is highly effective especially in wire as well as cable applications used as primary insulation of PP, HDPE, LDPE and other elastomers.
- It is also used in polyamide fibers, molded articles and films.
- It protects the polymer color during manufacturing, spinning or thermal fixation.
- SONGNOX® 1098 also protects the fiber during the last stages of polymerization or by dry blending on nylon chips.
