Maleic anhydride modified linear low-density polyethylene. Acts as a coupling agent for the production of halogen-free flame retardant (HFFR) compounds. It is designed to develop a reliable bonding strength between polyethylene or ethylene copolymers and mineral fillers. It helps to achieve superior mechanical properties and better water aging resistance. The high content of grafted MAH makes it an excellent coupling agent between polyolefin and mineral fillers such as aluminium trihydrate (ATH), magnesium dihydrate (MDH), brucite, etc. It is compatible with evatane, LLDPE and ATH. Used to develop a reliable bonding strength onto FBE (fusion bonded epoxy) steel pipe protective layer. It is also used in jacketing of low voltage cables and for the production of cable compounds with most common types of equipment (internal mixer, co-kneader, twin screw extruder).
