NOVEL 1012GB-21 Ethoxylate by Sasol is a biodegradable, 100% active, non-ionic surfactant and emulsifier. It is derived from linear, primary ALFOL 1012GB Alcohol. It is a 21-mole ethoxylate, made using Sasol North America Inc.’s patented NOVEL catalyst technology. It yields narrow range or peaked ethoxylates that have lower free alcohol, PEG levels and melting ranges when compared to the traditional base-catalyzed ethoxylates. NOVEL 1012GB-21 Ethoxylate finds application in plastic additive and textiles.
