SABOSTAT® ASE by Sabo is ethoxylated alkylamine-based anti-static agent for plastics. It is an effective antistat even under moderate humidity conditions. This additive has good thermal stability and low volatility to facilitate use of higher processing temperatures. SSABOSTAT® ASE provides longer term anti-static effect as compared to glycerol monostearate. It imparts synergistic performance when used in combination with glycerol monostearate. It is used for polyolefins (PE, LLDPE, PP) and styrenic polymers (ABS, SAN). It is suitable for use as a dispersing agent for pigments in plastic masterbatches and compounds as well as for food contact applications. The typical addition levels range from 0.1-3%, depending upon the substrate, processing conditions and the application as well as 2% in PE or PP wax as dispersing agent for pigments. The typical addition levels range from 0.1 to 0.3% in polyolefin and 1.5 to 3% in styrenic polymers. It is listed on the ECL, EINECS, ENCS, IECSC, AICS, PICCS, TSCA, TCSI, DSL and NZIoC chemical inventories. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
