Aktiplast® F 2635

Aktiplast® F 2635 by Rhein Chemie Additives (Lanxess Group) is functions as a peptizer and processing promoter for rubber. It is suitable for the mastication of natural- and synthetic rubber as well as of blends at high temperatures, since it counteracts the possible cyclization of the polymer like SBR. It delays scorch and reduces mixing time. It also acts as dispersing agent for all compounding ingredients, active carbon blacks and light colored reinforcing fillers. It activates vulcanization due to its zinc content. It improves the flow characteristics of the uncured compound and shows favorable influence on the storage stability. It exhibits no adverse effect on rubber-to-metal bonding. Aktiplast® F 2635 finds application in molded and extruded products such as conveyer belts and tire compounds. Recommended dosage level in NR and IR is 1-2 phr, in BR and SBR is 2-3 phr. It has a shelf life of 2 years.
