SAFOAM® FP-20

Safoam® FP-20 by Reedy Chemical Foam acts as an endothermic (heat absorbing) chemical nucleating and foaming agent. Improves surface quality and to reduce VOC emissions. Recommended for ABS, HIPS, PP, PPE/PPO, PVC-F, PVC-R, TPE, TPO, TPU and SAN. Used in injection molding to reduce machine energy, to eliminate sink marks, improve cycle time, reduce warp and for minor weight reduction. In extrusion it is used to create a cellular structure and improve throughput in medium density extrudates. The recommmended dosage is 0.5-2.0%. Safoam® FP-20 complies with FDA Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) 21 C.F.R. Part 110.
