TUFRov® LFT 4000 by PPG Industries is a tailor-made roving glass fiber grade. Acts as a reinforcing agent. Each package is in a wrap film with each pallet stretch wrapped to protect the fiber glass roving from dirt and moisture. Exhibits wet-out and spreadability of the roving bundle. Provides hydrolytic stability exhibited in both property retention and whiteness. Offers exceptional dry as molded (DAM) performance and excellent value in thermoplastic composites. Sizing on the fiber surface has been tailored to provide optimal balance of dry strength, fiber resin wetting and minimal sizing rub-off on process contact points. Available in outside payout. External payout is optional. Formulated for optimized low temperature impact performance. Designed for thermoplastic pultrusion and direct molding long fiber polypropylene (PP) processes such as direct long fiber thermoplastic (DLFT). TUFRov® LFT 4000 is used in several polypropylene (PP) resin systems.
