AF PE GE 10 by Polytechs is glycerol ester (10%) based antifogging masterbatch in LDPE base resin. Glycerol ester rapidly migrates to film surface, reducing the contact angle of condensed water droplets, giving anti-fogging effect to polyethylene films. Films containing AF PE GE 10 are allowed by FDA and BGA regulations for applications in direct contact with food. It is used for food packaging films including kitchen film rolls and supermarket tray wraps and also the manufacture of agricultural films such as greenhouse tunnels, where it is usually added to inner skin layer of tunnel. It is compatible with PE, PP or EVA resins. AF PE GE 10 is typically used at between 2 and 5 % depending on polymer types, film thickness and environment condition.
