POLYCLEAR 05044 by Plastiblends is a clarifying and nucleating masterbatch carried in a PP (polypropylene) resin. It can be formulated to provide product enhancement at low dosages. Shows faster crystallization rate and higher re-crystallization during polymer melting & cooling which further results in tangible cycle time reductions in injection molding applications. Forms small sized spherulites which allow visible light to pass through. Provides improved transparency, stiffness and high-temperature superconductivity. Designed for use in cast films, extrusion coatings, raffia, pipes, extrusion processes and thermoforming. Applications of POLYCLEAR 05044 include injection molded (IM) polypropylene (PP) containers, caps, closures, white goods/ appliances and automobiles. Approved for food contact applications.
