POLYCLEAR 05042 by Plastiblends acts as a clarifying and nucleating masterbatch carried in a PP (polypropylene) resin. It can be formulated to provide product enhancement at low dosages. Forms small sized spherulites which allow visible light to pass through. Used in cast films, extrusion coatings, raffia, pipes, extrusion processes and thermoforming. Shows faster crystallization rate and higher re-crystallization during polymer melting & cooling which further results in tangible cycle time reductions in injection molding applications. Offers improved transparency, stiffness and high-temperature superconductivity. Applications of POLYCLEAR 05042 include injection molded (IM) polypropylene (PP) containers, caps, closures, white goods/ appliances and automobiles. Approved for food contact applications.
