Einar® 201 by Palsgaard is a plant-based, general purpose internal anti-static agent for a broad range of PP injection molding applications and will ensure clean, dust free and an attractive appearance of packaging, appliances and other household products.
  • Recommended loading levels for homopolymer PP is 0.3-0.5% and for random copolymers is 0.1-0.3%.
  • It is also an efficient mold release and de-nesting additive and allows easy separation of stacked parts.
  • In mold release applications, the recommended loading levels for homopolymers is 0.2-0.4%, for random copolymers 0.1-0.2% and for impact copolymers 0.3-0.5%.
  • It is also a very good mold release for many PVC injection molding applications and is typically used at loading levels of 0.3-0.6%.
  • The food-grade status of the product makes this mold release and anti-static agent the perfect match for food packaging.
  • It has a shelf life of 24 months.
  • It also serves as an aging modifier for PE and PP foams.
  • The high consistent quality of the product guarantees reliable and dependable performance when PE and PP foam is conditioned after manufacture for release of excessive blowing agent.
  • A typical loading level of the product when foams are produced with physical blowing agents is 0.4-1.5%.
  • Loading levels in combination with chemical blowing agents is typically 0.2-0.5%.
  • Einar® 201 key features and benefits include:
  • Highly effective replacement for anti-static ethoxylated amines and amides.
  • A high-quality glycerol monostearate made from vegetable oils.
  • An internal anti-static additive for additive masterbatches based on polypropylene.
  • Especially well-suited for PP applications including R-PP, H-PP & B-PP.
  • It has an ideal migration profile in PP that delivers sufficient lubrication and will promote lower cycle times & continuous operation.
  • Worldwide regulatory approval for food-contact applications.
  • Produced in CO2-neutral factories.
  • Available in both pellet and powder form.
  • Excellent anti-static performance in homopolymer and random copolymers.
  • Good mold release and denesting properties.
  • No worries when used in food-contact applications.
  • High heat resistance and low volatility.
  • No adverse effects on mechanical, optical, and barrier properties.
  • Consultancy and technical evaluations available from Palsgaard's applications team.
