Geniset® D by NJC Europe is dibenzylidene sorbitol. It is a cost-effective clarifying and nucleating agent. Designed for processing by compounding, injection blow molding and thermoforming/ vacuum forming. Used in appliances, food packaging in cups, pots & trays, bottles, houseware articles and food containers. Offers economical clarity with excellent organoleptic properties and enhanced physical properties. Exhibits increased crystallinity temperature that enables shorter molding cycles. Recommended dosage level of Geniset® D is 0.1-0.25% in polypropylene homopolymer and random copolymer. It is listed in ELINCS, REACH, TSCA, MITI, DSL, AICS, ECL, IECSC and PICC. It is also approved in many countries for use in food contact applications.
