NEXAMITE® A48 by Nexam Chemical acts as a crosslinking agent. It reacts through an addition reaction activated by heat without forming any volatile by-products. It improves processability by forming long chain branches which enhances the melt strength at dosage <<1%.
- It offers improved mechanical performance, chemical resistance and long term properties.
- NEXAMITE® A48 is used in pipe extrusion to avoid sagging.
- It can also be used in peroxide-free crosslinking of polyethylene including HDPE, MDPE, LLDPE and mLLDPE.
- It is suitable for pipe, film, blow molding, geomembrane, PEX pipes, foam and recycling.
