RIKACID DDSA by New Japan Chemical is a tetrapropenylsuccinic anhydride (3-dodecenylsuccinic anhydride). Acts as a epoxy resin hardener and also as a sizing agent, lubricant additive, viscosity index improver, pour point depressant, anti-rust agent, surfactant, dispersant, and anti-settling agent. It improves flexibility, heat cycle, thermal shock property, shock resistance, and adhesion. It is easy to handle. Used as an electric insulating material and polyester resin raw material. It is TSCA listed.
