BT-585 by Nanjing Baitong New Material is a compatibilizer suitable for biodegradable plastics, which can improve mechanical and processing properties. It offers heat resistance, deformation resistance, reduced melt viscosity and improves blown film uniformity. It enhances mechanical performance, weather resistance and flexibility adjustment.
- It is suitable for melt extrusion (twin-screw pelletizing), blown film molding, injection molding and 3D printing (wire modification).
- It is widely used in polyesters such as polylactic acid (PLA), polybutylene adipate/terephthalate (PBAT), polybutylene succinate (PBS), polycaprolactone (PCL) and blending system such as PLA/PBAT, PLA/starch, PBAT/PHA, PLA/cellulose, etc.
- It has higher interfacial adhesion and optimized degradation regulation ability as compared with other compatibilizers.
- BT-585 is suitable for high toughness packaging), agricultural cover films, and food containers (PLA/PBAT tableware).
- The recommended dosage level is 2-5 phr.
