Diisodecyl phthalate. Acts as a plasticizer. It is produced by esterifying iso-decanol and phthalic anhyrdide. It exhibits low volatility, excellent electric resistivity, thermal resistance and control oxidation. It prevents discoloration, decomposition and evaporation. Used in wires & PVC cables, clothes, leathers, gloves, shoes, construction materials and PVC plastisols.
