UV-360 (MPI Chemie)

UV-360 (MPI Chemie) by MPI Chemie is a very low volatile UV light absorber of the hydroxyphenyl benzotriazole class. It imparts outstanding light stability to a variety of polymers. It dissipates the absorbed light energy from UV rays as heat by reversible intramolecular proton transfer. This reduces the absorption of UV rays by the polymer matrix and hence reduces the rate of weathering. UV-360 (MPI Chemie) is used in acrylic resins, polyalkylene terephthalates, polycarbonates, modified polyphenylene ether or sulfide compounds, polyamides, polyacetals, styrenics and elastomers. Recommended for electrical components, PC housings & frames and glazing building & construction applications.
