LUBMER™ L4640 is a filled, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) by Mitsui Chemicals. It functions as a tribology modifier of engineering plastics or a replacement for PTFE. Applicable for lightweight gears and bearings. It can reduce a squeaking sound with a variety of materials. It is suitable for processing by injection molding, co-extrusion or insert mold. Exhibits high mechanical properties, low friction and high processability. Improves durability due to high abrasion resistance. LUBMER™ L4640 contributes to increased product efficiency and total cost reduction.
