Artic Mist® by Magris Performance Materials is an off-white, high purity, extremely platy, very fine talc serving polymer and rubber. It exhibits excellent stiffness, HDT and dimensional stability as well as improved impact strength and aesthetics in high performance.
  • It is used as a reinforcing agent and processing aid. It also improves cut/tear resistance, reduces permeability, increases swell resistance and improves the aging properties of rubber compounds.
  • It is used in plastics applications mainly for nucleation of semi-crystalline plastics, for foamed plastics or other applications where a high-performance powder talc is desired.
  • It improves the tensile strength, flexibility and barrier properties of cured films.
  • Artic Mist® also exhibits ultrafine top size and high oil-absorption properties.
